As both a surf camp and surf school, we’re regularly ranked among the best surf camps in Europe by independent agencies. We’re super proud of that—especially because out of over 1,000 rated surf camps and surf schools, only one other small, family-run camp with just one location made it into the top 10.
To keep that quality going, we’re always looking for new people to join our team—whether it’s in the surf school or helping out around the camp in general.

We are looking for:
Social Media / Office Teamer
Starting this season, we’re expanding our office team with a focus on creative work and content production. Behind the scenes, our Slide Surf Crew is always busy handling all kinds of admin stuff—from the website and social media to communication materials for our guests. Now you can jump in, gain some hands-on experience, and take charge of your own projects!
Here’s what you’d be working on:
• Prepping online marketing materials
• Helping out with social media content
• Taking over your own projects (like video production and/or editing) if you’ve got the experience
• General office tasks and supporting the team with daily camp life
What we’re looking for:
Ideally, you’ve got some kind of background in media design, media communication, or a similar field—whether you’re currently studying, doing an apprenticeship, or already finished. If you’re still in training or at uni, we’d love to see some relevant experience. We’re also happy to sign off your time with us as an official internship.
Everything else works the same as our regular teamer positions—plus, you get to add your work here straight to your portfolio.
Teamer
Craving a longer break by the sea and looking to level up your surf skills?
If you’re outgoing, friendly, and love meeting new people, come join the team at Slide Surfcamp! We’re looking for some extra help with the daily camp life. Get ready to wake up to the sound of the ocean and live right by the beach!
You’ll be helping us out with whatever needs to be done and will be one of the main go-to people for our guests. You’ll become part of a fun, open-minded team of surf lovers who are all about making sure everyone has an epic surf trip. We’re all about good vibes and a chill, family-like atmosphere. We’re definitely not a party camp, but if you’re up for hanging out with guests and having a chat on the sunny terrace, you’re gonna fit right in.
Your tasks include:
- Setting up the breakfast buffet
- Helping out with dinner prep
- Keeping the kitchen, common areas, and workspaces clean
- Joining in on the weekly grocery run
- Making sure the Surf Villa stays nice and tidy
- Driving guests (transfers)
- Pitching in with small gardening jobs
- Spreading good vibes and having a good time with the guests
What you get:
We provide your accommodation, full board, and an unforgettable time at our surf camp in Portugal! After checking in with us, you’re more than welcome to join surf lessons, borrow gear, or just tag along for a surf session.

Yoga Teamer
What could be better than living in a dream location and turning your passion into your job?
We’re on the lookout for a yoga teacher to join our team! Our Surf Villa is right on the beach and offers the perfect spots for your yoga sessions—like our beautiful rooftop terrace with sunset views over the ocean!
We’d love for you to share your yoga practice with our guests, helping them unwind and recharge. You’re free to choose the style of yoga that fits your group best, and you’ll work independently, setting your own conditions and schedule.
What you’ll be doing:
• Leading yoga classes and coordinating session times with the guests
• Planning yoga retreats
• Being part of camp life and connecting with our guests
What we’re looking for:
You’ve got at least a RYT-200 certificate from Yoga Alliance and bring a chilled, positive vibe.
You can decide whether you’d like to stay and eat with us at the Surf Villa or organize your own place. If you’d like to stay with us, we ask that you help out with daily camp life, just like our regular teamers (see above).
Chef
We’re looking for a cook to join our team at our surf camp just behind the dunes!
We serve our guests a healthy, balanced dinner five nights a week, always freshly made with local ingredients—and we’d love your help! Depending on your experience, you can either fully take the lead in the kitchen or just help lighten the load.
Your tasks:
• Preparing a 2-course dinner including salad, main dish, and dessert
• Coordinating kitchen workflows
• Helping with or taking over the menu planning
• Grocery shopping
• Making sure hygiene and safety standards are on point when handling meat, fish, and veggie dishes
What we’re looking for:
Ideally, you’ve completed a culinary apprenticeship and have a real passion for what you do!
We’re happy to discuss all the details personally to find what works best for you. Either way, you’ll get a cozy bed in our Surf Villa with ocean views and full board included.

Surf Instructor Internship
Looking to become a surf instructor?
We offer you the chance to complete at least 80 hours of required internship at our surf school. Under the guidance of our head coach, you’ll build up your skills in the four key areas (NOPs) of surf instruction. This includes in-depth theory lessons with a strong focus on safety, methods to get students comfortable on the board, different take-off techniques, as well as duck diving and paddling out in green waves.
Gain real teaching experience with us and gradually take on your own responsibilities. Our experienced team will support you every step of the way, and we’d love to have you on board!
What you’ll be doing:
• Shadowing the planning and running of our surf lessons
• Leading parts of the practical and theory lessons (depending on your progress)
• Helping to keep our surf gear in top shape
• Motivating guests and sharing the stoke of learning to surf
What we provide:
Private accommodation, full board, and all the surf equipment you need.

Surf instructor
Our head coach is looking for support from a qualified surf instructor to join our crew!
Our surf camp is located right by the beach, and lessons take place at our home break—just a stone’s throw over the dunes. With us, you’ll be teaching surfing in one of the last uncrowded lineups in Europe! Our courses include both theory and practical sessions, held at the beach and in our cozy living room.
Your tasks:
• Planning and running surf lessons on your own
• Teaching both theory and practice 5 days a week
• Making sure everyone stays safe at all times (max. 6 people per group)
• Taking care of the surf equipment and keeping it in good shape
• Being a point of contact, keeping the motivation high, and joining in on camp life
What we offer:
Fair pay, plus accommodation and full board (to be discussed).

Reliability, a positive and motivating vibe, and of course a valid ISA or FPS license plus a Lifesaver certificate.
